27.12.2011Crude Production in Russia Grows to 510 Million Tons in 2011Crude production in Russia will reach 510 million tons while gas production will reach 667 billion cubic meters, Russian Energy Minister Sergey Shmatko said. In an interview with the television channel Russia 24, Shmatko said crude volumes may even exceed that figure. He noted that gas production was up 3% on 2010. According to the Russian Energy Ministry, in 2010, Russia increased its crude production volumes 2.2% to 505.194 million tons while also increasing gas output 11.5% to 650.311 billion cubic meters.
